Initiated by China’s National Computer Virus Emergency Response Center, the China Anti-Malware Alliance has been launched in Tianjin.
Focusing on fighting websites that harbor spammers, spyware and malware, the newly launched alliance aims to fight computer viruses and malware and to promote the construction of a malware monitoring and warning system in China.
The current 18 members of the alliance will cooperate with computer virus prevention companies, information security firms, network security organizations, manufacturers, and public security organs to fight on virus-based crimes and to protect the security of the information system of the country. The alliance will also promote the formulation and amendments of anti-malware regulations; improve the quality and level of security products; and set up a prevention and coordination system for reporting malware websites.
In addition, the alliance will establish security standards for website construction and operation as well as website security evaluation standards.
