Chinese e-commerce company Alibaba.com has announced that it has launched local customer service business in India to increase its investments in this key marketplace.
Alibaba.com stated in a report that its new customer service center, which is opened in Bombay, aims to provide services to its Gold Supplier members in India. However, the report did not reveal Alibaba.com’s investment scale in this project.
Gold Supplier is a membership rank launched by Alibaba.com and it equals to a top-level premium membership.
In addition, the company said that countries such as the United States, India, and Japan will be its key markets in its overseas business.
