Chinese video website Letv.com and China Research Society of Urban Development have signed a strategic agreement to jointly provide video technical platform support to hundreds of cities across China.
The agreement was signed by Letv.com and Chinacity.org.cn, the official website of CRSUD. Chinacity.org.cn has special industry resources and it has been committed to providing Internet-based publicity services to Chinese cities. With channels such as urban development, urban brands, urban images, urban lists, and urban posters, the website offers comprehensive city development information.
A representative from Chinacity.org.cn told local media that Chinese cities have focuses more on image displays and branding for travel and business. The cooperation with Letv.com enables Chinacity.org.cn to take advantage of the advanced communication platform of the Internet to promote the brands of cities via Internet videos, which can build a bridge for the investment, tourism, and development of cities.
Liu Hong, chief operating officer of Letv.com, revealed that the two parties will form a strategic partnership. At the same time, they will support each other’s activities to jointly establish Chinacity.org.cn as the first choice for the publicity of city brands and images.
In addition, Letv.com will reportedly launch a broadcasting platform for Chinacity.org.cn. Letv.com will aid Chinacity.org.cn in the planning of urban videos to introduce the economic situation and tourism resources of different cities.
