According to reports in local Chinese media, the recruitment website Zhaopin.com and the interactive entertainment group Oak Pacific have jointly launched a new business-oriented social networking site, Jingwei.com, in China.
A representative from Zhaopin.com has confirmed the news and told local media that unlike traditional business SNS websites, Jingwei.com aims to integrate the business SNS with high-quality social-oriented search engine-based Q&A model. Meanwhile, it will create a social network with high efficiency, high privacy, and high quality contents, so as to establish a trustworthy and smart information sharing platform.
As a real-name registration social media website, Jingwei.com targets the customer group formed by professionals, white collars, and senior industry elites between the age of 25 and 45. It will reportedly focus on business communication.
Guo Sheng, chief executive officer of Zhaopin.com, also revealed that the company will announce a new investment project soon, and the new project is related to its core recruitment business.
