Tencent will incorporate Avira’s Internet security scanning engine and core technology into Tencent’s QQ Computer Manager 5.0 Anniversary Preview Edition.
“As a leading global Internet business, Tencent’s partnership with internationally renowned anti-virus software company Avira GmbH is a model for cooperation within the Internet security industry,” said Tencent Research Institute Manager Deng Quanzhan. “This bilateral strategic cooperation initiative will not only provide users with access to a professional, intelligent one-stop Internet security experience, but will also enable Avira GmbH to provide even higher levels of service to its existing customers in China.”
As Tencent’s leading security product, QQ Computer Manager has attracted over 100 million Chinese users in less than a year.
