China’s Perfect World Sets Up Subsidiary In Malaysia

Chinese online game developer and operator Beijing Perfect World Network Technology Company Ltd. announced the establishment of a new subsidiary in Malaysia.

The company said that it has terminated its cooperation with Malaysia- and Singapore-based partners for the management of its online games Zhu Xian and Chi Bi. Starting from November 23, 2012, Perfect World, as the developer of the two online games and the exclusive operator in Malaysia and Singapore, will provide enhanced gaming services to local players.

Players in Malaysia and Singapore are able to access Zhuxian.4games.com and Chibi.4games.com for gaming information of the two games from November 20, 2012. After that, Perfect World will officially open the account activation for existing players in these two countries, which allows them to continue to enjoy the game with their existing clients and characters.

Perfect World said the company will provide players in Malaysia and Singapore with faster update speed, a fairer gaming environment, more comprehensive gaming services, and higher quality gaming experience. At the same time, the company will offer more compelling rewards and richer gaming contents to all players in the two countries.

Xiao Hong, co-CEO of Perfect World, said that the founding of the Malaysian subsidiary is another important measure for the global distribution of Perfect World. With the direct marking method, they can learn more precisely and completely about the demands of users, so as to adjust the gaming contents accordingly. They believe the direct marketing method will bring more happy experience to the players of Zhu Xian and Chi Bi in Singapore and Malaysia. Meanwhile, they hope players in the two countries will continue to pay close attentions to and support Perfect World’s games. In the future, the company will introduce more quality online games and services to users.
