Mogo, a Chinese mobile advertising platform, revealed to the local media that it has formed a strategic partnership with Aliyun, the cloud platform of Alibaba Group, to jointly provide one-stop solutions to application developers.

According to the company, Aliyun will provide various cloud computing services, including elastic computing services, large data storage, and cloud product API; while Mogo will provide an advertising integration service. Mogo will provide the mobile promotion and advertising support to applications from Aliyun’s system; in return, Aliyun will provide financial and resource support to Mogo. The two parties will share the profit, though the breakdown for the two parties was not revealed.

Mogo said that the cooperation with Aliyun will start a new service model that combines application development, operation, and revenue. It will seamlessly connect the existing users while promote the user growth of both parties.

In October 2011, Aliyun launched a CNY1 billion fund to support developers, and it reached a deal with Japan’s mobile Internet company DeNA and the Chinese Software Developer Network.

As a mobile advertising optimization platform, Mogo currently integrates over 40 mobile advertising platforms from China and abroad. It claims to provide over 300 million times of advertisement displays for more than 30,000 applications, though this has not been corroborated from independent sources yet.
