Avaya (Shanghai) Enterprise Management Co., Ltd. and Tencent Cloud Computing (Beijing) Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement to implement in-depth cooperation in the communications cloud service sector.

Financial terms of the agreement were not revealed, and the deal expands the companies' focus also on data disaster recovery development.

Under the strategic cooperation, the two parties will combine Avaya's strong communications products with Tencent's technologies to help users launch new cloud-based communications service model.

Wang Rong, general manager of Avaya's cloud business unit, said that Avaya has launched a cloud call center system deployed based on the SaaS model. The company will cooperate with Tencent Cloud Computing, which has secure, stable, and fast cloud computing services as well as communications and big data advantageous resources. The cooperation will help Avaya realize cloud communications solutions rapidly, so as to help enterprises maximize value of cloud communications.
