“Factories with Chinese capital cause no threat, reports on social media are lie” — Vice PM of Kazakhstan
AKIPRESS.COM – 55 joint projects with China will be implemented in Kazakhstan as part of the industrialization program, but they will be new and employ citizens of Kazakhstan, Deputy Prime Minister Jenis Kasymbek told a press conference on Thursday.
He said that reports speading on social media are a “lie”.
“It’s quite strange that this information (about 55 plants) appears on social media on the eve of the visit (President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s visit to Chine on September 11-12). I can not make any conclusions, this is a matter of other bodies. But it’s quite strange that this happens on the eve of the state visit to China, therefore, we today decided to give explanations to make clear for the citizens that these projects are important, that they do not cause any threats about which is reported on social media today. In fact, those issues that are published on media are groundless, and this is just a lie,” Kasymbek noted.
The Vice PM added as part of industrialization, Kazakhstan and China really plan to implement 55 joint plants.
One of them is a solar power plant in Almaty region, according to him.
The projects are in the process of implementation, Kasymbek noted.
