Anchor Shilpa Chakraborty slams Hyderabad police for ignoring her cyber abuse complaint on Twitter; police respond – Times of India

Popular TV host Shilpa Chakraborty claims to be a victim of cyber abuse. She slammed Hyderabad police for ignoring the cyber abuse complaint that she had raised on Twitter on January 4, 2020.
“Its been almost 2 months since I made this complaint, none had responded. Are the Twitter handles just ornamental & for publicity ?,” reads one of her recent tweets.

In her recent tweets, Shilpa shared screenshots of the cyber abuse she has been facing and sought help from Hyderabad City Police. She

This guy SISODIA is abusive & elusive. Can anyone please help in getting this guy? (sic),” reads another tweet.

A few netizens also have found fault with the delayed response from the police.

However, the Twitter handle of Hyderabad City Police has responded to Shilpa’s complaint a while ago. Asking her to share complete details on the issue, they have assured to investigate further and help Shilpa in the case.

Shilpa later thanked the police for the prompt response further hoping for some ‘appropriate’ action on the miscreant.

The popular anchor has indeed made her TV comeback with Bigg Boss Telugu season 3 hosted by Nagarjuna Akkineni. However, she was unhappy with the way she was projected in the show.

On career front, Wow Ultimate Game Show and the daily soap Kante Kuthurne Kanali were her first notable appearance on Telugu TV. She went on to feature in shows like Dance Baby Dance, Bhale Jodi. She is a trained Kathak dancer, too.
