ISTANBUL — A Russian navy delegation will maintain talks with Turkish officers in Ankara on Tuesday to debate a deal which the 2 nations reached final week for a ceasefire in northwest Syria’s Idlib region, the Turkish Defence Ministry mentioned on Monday.

Turkey, with the second largest military in NATO, has despatched navy tools and hundreds of troops into the area in current weeks. President Tayyip Erdogan mentioned on Sunday 59 Turkish troopers had been killed within the battle.
