Thai plane collides with non-public jet in Lao capital airport

VIENTIANE – An Airbus A330 belonging to Thai Airways collided with a parked Gulfstream privet jet on Monday when taxiing to take off in Lao capital Vientiane‘s Wattay Worldwide Airport, in response to Lao Information Company on Tuesday.

The tail of the Gulfstream is broken, in response to native transportation media Aero Laos report in social media, and no one bought harm from the accident

When the Thai Airways plane, scheduled to take off at 20:30 native time (GMT 1330) certain for Thai capital Bangkok on Monday, was taking off in Wattay Worldwide Airport, its wing accidently hooked with the tail of Gulfstream (GLF4) privet jet parked within the airport.

The tail of the Gulfstream is broken, in response to native transportation media Aero Laos report in social media, and no one bought harm from the accident on Monday night time.

Thai Airways issued a press release on Tuesday, saying that every one passengers and crew are secure and had been delivered to a Vientiane lodge.

Thai Airways is arranging the flight for the passengers to return to Bangkok on Tuesday, Thai Airways assertion quoted Pathana pathanasiri, director of Security, Safety and Aviation Requirements of Thai Airways as saying on Tuesday morning.

The TG575 flight operated by an Airbus A330-300 plane carried 79 passengers and 13 crew members on Monday night time, in response to the assertion.

The airbus and the Gulfstream jet are nonetheless seen stranded within the airport until Tuesday midday.
