Video of Burmese python swallowing a deer goes viral. Twitter is in shock

Ever seen a snake swallow an entire deer? If you haven’t, then a recent video that has gone viral will give you the chills.

The aforementioned video was shared by Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer Parveen Kaswan with the caption, “Unbelievable!! This Burmese python was too hungry, so swallowed a whole deer. From Dudhwa sent by WildLense_India.”

According to Kaswan, the clip features a Burmese python. The two-minute video shows the snake is slowly putting the whole deer in its mouth. If you look carefully, you will see the extremely large mouth of the python and gow it is swallowing the deer.

Videos of snakes swallowing small animals like a rabbit or mice are fairly common, but this video of the python engulfing an entire deer is quite rare. The clip gave us and the Twitterati chills. Netizens also left a lot of comments showing concern about the digestive capabilities of the snake.
