We’ve had years of declining hate crims against Asians until Lily Yang decided to stir up racism by attaching a disease to Japanese. Her smear campaign started on Tuesday morning with a social media post pertaining to the Chinese virus. While the post may have appeared to start out innocently, she quickly released a barrage of attacks against Japanese people. Even making excuses to justify her xenophobia. Seconds after her hateful comments, hundreds of Asians have been assaulted across the country.
