Kochi: The iconic reality shows SaReGaMaPa makes history for another time by successfully completing 25 years of its running in various ZEE channels across the country.
SaReGaMaPa Keralam has become a viral hit among audiences of Kerala in its very first year with steady viewership and over 100+ videos of the show crossing the 1 Million+ views each mark. The contestants of the show have garnered a large fan base and have already turned playback singers in the Malayalam film industry.
To mark the 25th year of SaReGaMaPa, Zee is running a Live-A-Thon event showcasing the talents of SaReGaMaPa from across all regions. The talents of SaReGaMaPa from across various regions will come online for the Live-A-Thon event on May 24th at 10.30 AM on the Zee’s Social Media pages followed by a Pan India Musical concert on TV the very same evening at 7.30 PM. The artists, singers, and the jury members of the show from all the regions including ZEE Keralam will be on screen both the unique events.
Amidst the lockdown restrictions, the mega event has been completely shot from the homes of each artiste. The channel would portray the legacy of the show through these hours which would go live across all channels of ZEE on 24th May following which the TV concert will be aired in the respective regional channels.
SaReGaMaPa is an extraordinary music reality show which has gifted many singers to the Indian film industry. The list comprises of Shreya Ghoshal to the 10 eminent contestants of SaReGaMaPa Keralam in ZEE Keralam, where most of them have already sung for the Malayalam film industry even before the grand finale.
Both the events are doubling up as fundraisers and ZEE has partnered with GiveIndia in the light of the Covid19 pandemic across the world. A large number of artists from the music industry all over India will be uniting under the banner of SaReGaMaPa for this cause which is touted to be a musical extravaganza.
