Twitter Blasts Team India Players For Ordering Beef At Melbourne Restaurant

Rohit Sharma and his Team India teammates have been in constant trouble since they visited a particular restaurant in Melbourne for lunch on Saturday.  There were reports of a possible bubble breach from the Team India cricketers. However, the BCCI denied any such claims asked the particular players to stay in isolation since the incident happened. Meanwhile, now the players are being trolled on Twitter after they ordered beef as one of their menus.

It all started after a random Twitter user shared pictures of Team India players, comprising Rohit Sharma, Rishabh Pant, Shubman Gill, Prithvi Shaw and Navdeep Saini, and claimed to have paid their bill as well as hugged Pant during his interaction. While he denied hugging Pant, later on, CA and BCCI were alerted regarding the Indian players’ recent visit and to look into any possible breach of the strict protocols.

Meanwhile, the picture of the bill got viral on social media and Rohit Sharma and co have been constantly trolled since then. There are various kinds of sentimental comments coming in after they ordered beef at lunch.

Just a few hours after Rohit Sharma joined the squad in Melbourne, the BCCI announced Rohit as India’s vice-captain to Ajinkya Rahane for the remaining two Tests of the series. While on the other hand, Shardul Thakur and T Natarajan were officially added to the Test squad as a replacement for Mohammed Shami and Umesh Yadav.

The third Test match starts in Sydney from January 7 and the Team India players were trying to get a bit of time out for themselves before the practice session begins for the third Test.
