If the top Twitter trend on social media this Tuesday morning is anything to go by, then Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid may have pulled off another surprise. The singer sent fans on social media into a meltdown with reports claiming that he may have actually married his long-time love and mother of his child – Gigi Hadid.
‘Zayn is married’ took over the top trends on Twitter after his ‘To Begin Again’ collaborator Ingrid Michaelson hinted that the singer is now a married man. During a live stream, Ingrid spoke about her new song and how she never really met Zayn while working on the piece and its music video.
She was quoted saying, “We’ve never met, I’ve never spoken to him. Zayn doesn’t do stuff he doesn’t wanna do, and the fact that he did this song is very flattering. He’s such a private person and now he’s married and has a child so, he does the things he wants to do.”
The statement earned a range of reactions from die-hard Zayn fans. While some expressed their shock, others sent in their congratulations to the couple, irrespective of whether the news was accurate or not.

Considering that Ingrid has ‘never spoken’ to Zayn, nor even met him, reports state that she may have misspoken when she claimed that he is now married.
Neither Zayn nor Gigi have commented on these reports.
The couple left fans pleasantly surprised when they announced their pregnancy mid-2020. They welcomed their first child together – daughter Khai. Zayn and Gigi have since been spending as much quality time together, enjoying the little joys of parenthood.
