Former Brazil national team FW Joe (34), who was playing in the Nagoya Grampus of the Meiji Yasuda Life J1 League, seems to be missing. The Brazilian media “Grobo” reported on the 13th.

According to the report of “Grobo”, Joe is the party of Brazilian midfielder Douglas Costa (31) who belongs to Gremio after the final section of Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A (Brazil 1st Division) against EC Juventuge on the 9th of this month. After telling his wife that he was going to, he suddenly disappeared. Club officials were in a situation where they could not contact the player.

And on the 13th of this month, I updated my Instagram account. In the story function, he declared a divorce, leaving a comment saying “I made a mistake in my family. I will live alone from now on.” Corinthians, meanwhile, sees Joe’s case as a personal event during the off-season after the final war of the season, showing that the club is not involved.

Joe returned to Brazil in April 2020 when he was enrolled in Nagoya Grampus. Despite the middle of the season, he left the Nagoya Grampus team activities without permission. Even though he had a contract with Nagoya Grampus until after the end of the 2020 season, he had signed a contract with Corinthians.

When Nagoya Grampus filed a complaint with the International Football Federation (FIFA), FIFA ordered Joe and Corinthians to pay Nagoya Grampus $ 3.4 million in compensation. However, Joe and Corinthians dissatisfied with the ruling and filed a petition with the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in March this year. And the trial at CAS is being held from the end of last month to the beginning of this month.
