Micro-blogging platform Twitter is growing a characteristic that can enable customers to co-author tweets with different accounts. This characteristic named “Collabs” will enable customers to publish a tweet on their behalf and another person’s on the similar time. This newest addition is all about collaboration and has the potential to make it to the platform. Nonetheless, there is no such thing as a official details about this characteristic being launched to all customers.
In keeping with an XDA Builders report, among the findings have been found in a sequence of tweets. The report provides Twitter has been engaged on the co-authoring characteristic since December 2021. The corporate has not confirmed the eventual broad rollout of the characteristic, as it’s nonetheless beneath improvement.
The characteristic will enable two accounts to collaborate on a specific tweet. However, there’s a catch, as customers need to ship an invite to the co-author — who should observe them and have a public Twitter account. The tweet will get posted on the timelines of each accounts and for each units of followers to see the tweet after the invitation has been accepted. Furthermore, the tweet will point out each authors and never simply the unique one.
The platform already permits its customers to tag others in tweets and photographs, however tags can’t be seen on the tweets on the tagged particular person’s timeline.
