The AEW Pay-per-view, All In, proved to be a massive success for the franchise as it recorded gigantic numbers in terms of event attendance as the brand put up some high-octane wrestling action at the special.
One of the biggest matchups of the night was the clash between IWGP United States Champion Will Ospreay and legendary wrestler Chris Jericho, who has been in the industry for decades now.
AEW went on to announce that the in-stadium attendance had breached their top numbers for crowd flocking in and bettered the number set by WWE WrestleMania 32, which saw 80,709 attend the event.

AEW announced that 81,035 were in attendance on the day of the special and Ospreay decided to immortalise it in the form of an arm tattoo- depicting the number that had come out to watch him in action.
Or so he thought. It was later revealed that the attendance was significantly lower, around the 71,000 region. This left Ospreay disappointed and befuddled.
Ospreay took to social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, to express his shock in a video, which was deleted a couple of minutes after it was posted.

“Bruv, you cannot make this f*cking sh*t up. I am currently in Japan and I’ve had no f*cking sleep. I am tired and I wake up. This is the worst f*cking day of my life. Do you know how hard it was for me to get a tattoo? My Mum f*cking hates them bruv. They announced it to everyone! They announced it was 81,000 people. I’ve got this f*cking thing on my arm now,”
The number blunder led to Ospreay getting the incorrect number inked on his arm and he was clearly frustrated with the mix-up. AEW are yet to release the official actual number of people that were present on the day.
