According to reports, a group of five or six Indian tourists arrived at Pattaya Beach early in the morning on January 16, 2025 and began urinating openly on the beach. While they were committing this indecent act, a bystander filmed the incident and shared the video on social media.
The tourists were seen engaging in such unsanitary behaviour on Pattaya Beach in Chon Buri, Thailand. After the video went viral, there was widespread anger among both local residents and international tourist community.
Many voiced concerns that such actions could tarnish the reputation of Pattaya as a popular tourist destination. Local authorities were also urged to increase patrolling on the beach and raise awareness of local customs and rules.
