BBC Sort Your Life Out viewers share same complaint as they say ‘this is painful to watch’
Sort Your Life Out viewers were left shocked by the amount of stuff one family had managed to collect
Viewers of Sort Your Life Out expressed their distress as they watched the latest episode, describing it as ‘painful to watch’.
The BBC’s popular programme returned on Tuesday (4th March) with Stacey Solomon and her team, including Dilly Carter, 44, Iwan Carrington, and Robert Bent. They came to the aid of the Jamison family from East Sussex, who have lived in their home for four decades.
Nadine, a single mother, has been living in the house since her teens, raising her four daughters and caring for her late mother.
With three generations sharing the space, the house has become overwhelmed with possessions, leaving no room for a new beginning.

But it was the scene at the warehouse that sparked conversation among viewers. The team laid out all the family’s items to decide what to sell, donate, or keep.
Among the clutter were 106 animal ornaments, 87 board games, 3,000 miniature plastic toys, and over 1,000 pieces of Nadine’s cherished china, reports Wales Online.
As they sifted through years of memories, emotions ran high. Nadine pondered her past, the struggles of bringing up her children, and the effect of her father’s departure from the family home.
In a heartfelt moment, Nadine shared: “Some of this is my dad’s and that’s why I’ve held onto this. He was great but he did walk out when I was 17. I think I have been stuck in there, at that age. Such an idyllic childhood, so it’s a real shock.”
As Nadine’s daughters rallied around her, the whole family embarked on the daunting task of parting with 40 years’ worth of possessions and memories. Stacey and her team worked round the clock to convert the bungalow into a warm and inviting home, with a special appearance by Stacey’s good friend Zoe Sugg, aka Zoella.
However, viewers at home were left aghast, taking to social media to express their astonishment at Nadine’s staggering collection of over 3000 plastic toys.
One viewer tweeted: “This is painful to watch. You won’t have room for your flowers and coffee in your house full of STUFF! #SortYourLifeOut.”
Another wrote: “Plastic toys? B****y hell. No wonder the planet is f****d, #SortYourLifeOut.”
A third user commented: “3000+ plastic toys?!?! #sortyourlifeout @NatureBookish #sortyourlifeout all those dolls!” Meanwhile, another asked: “How much did she spend on all those dolls alone? I thought nurses are supposed to be skint? #sortyourlifeout.”
