Elon Musk tops Forbes’ 2025 World Billionaires list

MANILA, Philippines – Elon Musk is now ranked first among the world’s 3,028 billionaires, according to Forbes’ 2025 World Billionaires listings.

Musk tops the list with an estimated net worth of $342 billion, thanks to his various tech-related ventures, from social media platform X to carmaker Tesla and space company SpaceX. He has also gained prominence in US political circles by serving as a close advisor to US President Donald Trump, who is also listed in the rankings.

Musk is also the first to break past the $300-billion mark in the list’s history.

Meta Platforms CEO Mark Zuckerberg ranks second with an estimated net worth of $216 billion, while Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and Oracle cofounder Larry Ellison rank third and fourth with $215 billion and $192 billion in estimated net worth, respectively.

Trump, ranked 700 on the list with an estimated net worth of $5.1 billion, more than doubled his net worth, thanks to his shares in the Trump Media and Technology Group, as well as cash inflows from a number of ventures. These include cryptocurrency-related ventures like the $TRUMP memecoin and tokens under the World Liberty Financial name.

In all, these 3,028 billionaires in Forbes’ list have a collective estimated net worth of $16.1 trillion. – Rappler.com
