Poco is all set to shake things up once again, this time with the upcoming Poco F7, which is expected to launch globally, and in India, later this month. According to recent leaks, the launch could take place on June 17 or June 19, with India likely getting the phone on the same day as its international debut.
The F7 is positioned as the latest addition to the Poco F7 series, joining the F7 Pro and F7 Ultra, which were introduced in select markets earlier this year.
Looks Familiar? That’s Because It Might Be
Rumour has it the Poco F7 will be a rebadged version of the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, which was recently launched in China. If that’s true, users can expect high-end features packed into a sleek design, including a metal middle frame and IP68/IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, something not commonly seen in Poco phones.
Under the Hood: Serious Firepower
When it comes to performance, the F7 isn’t holding back. It’s expected to run on the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, which should offer smooth multitasking, efficient power use, and solid gaming performance. Leaks also suggest up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, giving users plenty of headroom for apps, games, and media.
Display Designed for Everything You Do
The phone could sport a 6.83-inch flat LTPS OLED screen with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Whether you’re watching videos, scrolling through social media, or playing games, the display promises to deliver sharp visuals and a smooth user experience.
Camera and Battery: Balanced for Everyday Use
Photography-wise, the F7 is said to feature a 50MP main camera and an 8MP secondary lens, along with a 20MP front camera for selfies and video calls. It may not be a photography powerhouse, but it should cover all your daily needs with ease.
Battery capacity is where things get interesting. The Indian variant could come with a massive 7,550mAh battery, while the global version might carry a 6,550mAh cell. Both are expected to support 90W fast charging, which means more power with less wait.
Wrapping Up: A Worthy Contender?
With the F7 Pro and Ultra already out, the Poco F7 looks ready to complete the trio—bringing near-flagship features to a wider audience. If the rumours prove true, it could be one of the most well-rounded phones in its segment when it lands later this month.
