CLON‘s Koo Jun Yeop, more popularly known by his stage name DJ Koo, recently made a public statement about his late wife after more than a year. Ever since her demise, DJ Koo has been spotted at Hsu’s grave site and time again; however, he has not shared any statement.
As per reports from Sports Seoul, the star was spotted at Barbie Hsu’s grave site with some of his Korean friends in New Taipei City, Taiwan. During his visit, he was asked by a reporter about whether he dreams about his wife often, and the star finally shared his reply by promptly saying, “Of course.” This is the first time that Koo has talked to the press since his wife’s passing. It was also reported that he has been sitting by her grave in order to work on sketches. Barbie Hsu’s mother revealed that the drawings will be used for a statue of the star. She shared, “The statue will be created based on the drawings my son-in-law has made himself, and it will be truly beautiful.”
Barbie Hsu was a prolific Taiwanese actress who was best known for her role in the Taiwanese adaptation of ‘Meteor Garden.’ Over the span of her career, she worked on some major projects, which included ‘Reign of Assassins’, ‘Xing fu san chong zou’, ‘Future X-Cops’, ‘The Monkey King: Quest for the Sutra’, and many others. She and DJ Koo got together in 1998, however later broke up due to differences.They reunited and got married in 2022; however, the actress passed away tragically after complications from pneumonia.
