A huge British fashion brand has opened its doors to a new store at The Mall, Cribbs Causeway this morning (Wednesday, October 15). AllSaints, which already boasts a shop in the Quaker Friars area of Cabot Circus, has moved into the former Superdrug unit following the beauty brand’s move to a bigger spot at the shopping centre earlier this month.
AllSaints, which takes its inspiration from London’s alternative culture and underground music scene, is known for its edgy, urban aesthetic, particularly its range of leather jackets for both men and women.
Founded in London in 1994, the brand now has 281 stores worldwide, including in the UK, France, US, Mexico, Canada, Japan, Taiwan, and China. The Mall’s social media pages shared a sneak peek at the news yesterday, with a video of some of the products in the new store.
It was captioned: “Big news… AllSaints is opening tomorrow! Get ready to explore the latest styles and signature looks.”
It’s not the first time that the brand has had a home at the Cribbs venue, as the John Lewis store currently has an AllSaints concession in amongst its fashion offering.
This latest store opening comes just weeks following the opening of the ‘biggest Superdrug store in the South West’, which opened in the former home of Topshop at The Mall, on October 2, and features a space of 8,901 square feet. It includes an in-house beauty studio where shoppers can receive professional treatments, like brow, nail and piercing services, at what are being described as affordable prices.
And in addition to this, the Superdrug shop will offer customers access to a new nurse-led clinic, offering things such as seasonal flu jabs.
Prior to this, Scribbler also unveiled it would be opening up shop at The Mall, back in September. The stationery store which sells greetings cards and Jellycat toys, and also boasts a store at Cabot Circus, announced it will be coming to the Cribbs venue after signing a 10-year lease for a 564 square foot store.
Scribbler’s arrival follows the news that Clarendon Fine Art will upsize to a larger space, in the unit that formerly housed Typo. Typo, a popular stationery and homeware store, closed its doors earlier in the summer, with BristolLive reporting back at the beginning of June, that it was running a closing down sale with deals as low as 50 per cent off.
There have also been recent lettings to clothing brand Animal and restaurant chain Pizza Express at The Mall, too.
