Fans, are you ready? NCT Dream, the third sub-unit of the group NCT under SM Entertainment, is making its return to the music scene. The seven-member band, currently on a world tour, is releasing its sixth mini-album next month. This would mark their first release since they dropped their fifth full-length album, Go Back To The Future, in July this year.
On Monday, October 27, the group took to their official social media account and surprised their fans by announcing the title and release date of their upcoming mini album. NCT Dream is releasing Beat It Up on November 17 at 6 PM KST or 2:30 PM IST. While they did not release a teaser, the group unveiled the first poster for their new mini-album, which featured a large, colourful truck flying through the air. It also featured some cool graffiti designs and the album’s name in orange and yellow font.
How Did NCT Dream’s Fans React?
In addition to the poster, the group also changed their profile picture to a style similar to their album’s name. The announcement has already sent NCTzens into a frenzy, with thousands expressing their excitement about their upcoming album. “Yes, and finally NCT Dream with a comeback…ohh ya,” said one fan. Another added, “BEAT IT UP LET’S GOWWWWHHHH.” A different excited fan mentioned, “Wow, u know it’s gonna be (fire).”
What’s NCT Dream Up To These Days?
The group was formed in 2016 under SM Entertainment. They began their journey with their debut digital single, Chewing Gum. The septet made their Japanese debut on February 8, 2023, with their first single, Best Friend Ever. NCT Dream released their fifth studio album, Go Back To The Future, on July 14, with the tracks BTTF and Chiller released as double lead singles.
Currently, the group is on its fourth tour, titled The Dream Show 4: Dream The Future. The seven members of the group, Mark, Renjun, Jeno, Haechan, Chenle, Jaemin, and Jisung, kicked off their tour on July 10 at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul, South Korea. Following three shows in their homeland, the boy band performed in Thailand and Hong Kong in August, Indonesia in September, and Singapore in October. They are set to perform in Japan, Taiwan, and Malaysia before concluding their tour with a show in Japan in January 2026.
