MANILA, Philippines —The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) confirmed Monday that missing bride-to-be Sherra de Juan has been located in the Ilocos Region.
Authorities said QCPD personnel, together with De Juan’s family, were en route to Ilocos to bring her back to Manila.
“The personnel of QCPD Police Station 5 (Fairview), together with Sherra’s family, are on their way to safely and properly fetch her from her location,” the QCPD said in a social media post.
The police added that the trip would take approximately three hours, with De Juan expected to arrive in Manila around 5 p.m. Monday. Officials did not disclose the specific town or barangay where she was found, saying they would provide details once she is safely back.
De Juan was last seen around 1:30 p.m. on December 10 near the corner of Commonwealth Avenue and Atherton Street in North Fairview, Quezon City. She was scheduled to marry her fiancé, Mark Arjay Reyes, on December 14.
Since her disappearance, Reyes had appealed online for help in locating De Juan.
