Uri Geller offers ‘supernatural’ Scottish island to Trump

Trump’s desire to annex Greenland and tap into its natural resources is well known. 

Speaking to journalists on Wednesday, Trump’s press secretary Karoline Leavitt said: “The president has been very open and clear with all of you and with the world, that he views it in the best interest of the United States to deter Russian and Chinese aggression in the Arctic region, and so that’s why his team is currently talking about what a potential purchase would look like.”

However, Geller has suggested a different solution.

He posted on Facebook: “President Trump, I can solve the problem with Greenland. Adopt my Scottish Lamb Island as your 51st state and use it as a military base! Dock your navy and aircraft there – and if you get into a war with China, I will come to your rescue. 

“Lamb is protected by mystical forces and you will succeed with its power. All Greenlanders can become citizens of Lamb, so Denmark does not need to worry.”

In 2022, Geller, who lives in Tel Aviv, declared Lamb Island as a ‘micronation’.

Patrons can purchase citizenship on Geller’s website for just $1.

The self-proclaimed psychic bought the island, the size of a football pitch in 2009, paying £30,000 for the honour.

At the time, Geller said: “It is one of the keystones to British mythology, and I am thrilled to be its owner. I am fascinated by the connection between the pyramids and these islands.”
