Away from the movies and events, a behind-the-scenes moment at the Dubai Autodrome is going viral. Actor Sibiraj, son of film veteran Sathyaraj, met Ajith Kumar along with family at the race track just ahead of the run for the coveted Dubai 24H Series. The meeting happened right in the middle of Ajith’s rigorous training sessions and gave a sneak preview of the actor’s personable side outside of the silver screen. Sibiraj posted a video of the meeting on social media, which showed Ajith casually welcoming the family with hugs and casual interactions, in turn curating a wave of excitement amongst fans online.

Sibiraj praises Ajith’s dedication to racing

Sharing the video on X (formerly Twitter), Sibiraj said that it was a memorable moment meeting Ajith and praised his dedication to motorsports. He said, “It was a pleasure to meet you, Ajith at the Dubai 24H race. I am so impressed with the amount of time and resources you have invested in your hobbies aside from your movie work. It’s a pleasure to be with you and we shall see you soon. Thank you.” The post has added to the overall admiration of Ajith who is currently balancing an extensive film schedule with competitive racing internationally.

Racing journey continues across the Middle East

Ajith was gearing up to participate in the Dubai 24H Series at the Dubai Autodrome, hoping to bring home another title in the auto racing championship. A week prior to the Dubai Series, the 24H Series Middle East Trophy was held at the Marina Race Circuit in Abu Dhabi where he participated. Music director Anirudh met superstar Ajith on the same day and they were also spotted in a celebratory video prior to the event. This particular video even featured Anirudh relaying inputs very discreetly to Ajith, which highlights the seriousness with which the actor takes his racing career.

Ajith’s racing passion set for the big screen

Ajith’s journey on the track will be captured for posterity in the form of a documentary-feature, helmed by A L Vijay. The 90-minute sheeter is expected to hit screens on May 1 next year, to coincide with Ajith’s birthday. Apart from racing visuals, the film will showcase strategy meets, practice runs and behind-the-scenes action from Malaysia, Abu Dhabi and Dubai. This is more than a personal journey; it is a film that will inspire youngsters to pursue their abandoned aspirations.
