Historic First: Assam’s CM Sarma at World Economic Forum

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu hailed Assam’s CM Himanta Biswa Sarma for becoming the first leader from the northeastern state to grace the World Economic Forum’s annual gathering in Switzerland.

Naidu recognized Sarma’s historic representation of Assam on this prestigious global platform, congratulating him via social media from Zurich.

As Naidu continues his visit, he plans to highlight Andhra Pradesh’s potential to global political and business figures. He is slated for talks with Singapore’s President Tharman Shanmugaratnam, World Bank President Ajay Banga, and a session with the Telugu diaspora.
