iQoo is all set to expand its smartphone lineup in India. The company has confirmed that it will launch the iQoo 15R in the country soon. The company teased the smartphone in a post shared on social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter). Nipun Marya, CEO iQoo India, shared an image of the upcoming smartphone along with the caption, “Power that fits just right, #ComingSoon! #iQOO15R”. The company has also confirmed that the smartphone will be available online on Amazon.in. The company has also revealed that the yet-to-launch iQoo 15R will be powered by company’s own OriginOS. The image shared on X highlight that the iQoo 15R will house a dual rear camera setup placed inside a square-shaped camera module. The smartphone looks compact and will feature a textured rear panel.
In terms of design, the iQoo 15R looks quite similar to the recently launched iQoo Z11 Turbo. iQoo recently launched the Z11 Turbo smartphone in China. As per multiple online rumours, the upcoming iQoo 15R may feature a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is tipped to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset and may feature a 200MP main camera.The upcoming iQoo 15R is expected to house a 32MP front camera for selfies. The smartphone is also rumoured to come equipped with an in-display 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and the IP68+IP69 ratings.iQoo 15R is expected to be backed by a 7,600 mAh battery which may come with 100W fast charging support.
