The buzz around ‘Dhurandhar 2’ is so much that fans have been analyzing every detail of the first installment to anticipate the storyline of the upcoming film. One of the things that people noticed in the credits of ‘Dhurandhar’ was that it mentioned three vanity vans for Hamza Ali Mazari (Ranveer Singh‘s character name in the film). This reignited the discussions about separate vanity vans for the actor’s entourage, which hinted towards Singh. Now, a report stated that the lead of the movie had just a single vanity on the sets of the film.
A source close to the production house told Mid-Day that the term ‘van’ was also used to denote regular transport vehicles while they were shooting in Thailand for the film.
The insider told the publication, “These were Thai vans being referred to in the end credits from ‘Dhurandhar’s Bangkok shoot, which had a long shooting schedule. One vanity and two cars (Thai vans) were deployed for the actor, staff, luggage, etc., to travel around the locations.”The person further shared with the website that in the teaser of the upcoming part, one can notice that he will be seen in two different avatars. The report stated that Ranveer Singh had shed 15-25 kgs within months or days and shot for 12-14 hours a day.The source further told the portal, “In general, with actors, sometimes for drastic body transformations, a gym or private chef or both on set are required for the magic to happen within production timelines.”
A screenshot of the end credits of ‘Dhurandhar’ was posted on social media. In it were mentioned “Hamza Van, Hamza Staff Van, and Hamza Normal Van.” This image reignited the discussion that the actor allegedly requires multiple vanity vans on the sets. Though none of the statements from various producers and celebs mentioned his name, the people of the internet felt that they were pointing at Singh.
For those unaware, both ‘Dhurandhar’ and ‘Dhurandhar 2’ were shot as one single movie. However, the makers decided to split the film in two due to its length.‘Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge’ is set to arrive in cinemas on March 19, 2026.
