Four men have been arrested for selling child pornography after cybercrime police raided four locations nationwide, the Thailand Internet Crimes Against Children unit (TICAC) said on Thursday.

Police had been gathering evidence from several social‑media platforms and obtained search warrants for locations in Bangkok, Samut Prakan, Chon Buri and Ayutthaya, said Pol Col Theeranon Manmongkol, the superintendent of TICAC.

In Bangkok, a 37‑year‑old man was arrested at a house in Lat Krabang district. The suspect, identified only as Nithiphat, was the administrator of a Telegram chat group.

Police found numerous pornographic files shared in the group on his iPhone 17 Pro Max. The materials included images of minors under 18 and videos secretly filmed in public restrooms, with evidence showing the suspect received money from group members, police said.

In Muang district of Samut Prakan province, police arrested the user of an X account called “ta‑rittv2”, whose real name was given only as Thakritkamon, aged 30. He admitted to filming child pornography found on his devices and sharing it on the platform.

Police in Chon Buri arrested a man identified as Kriangsak, 30, who had been selling child porn through a Telegram app using the name “Peter Oozet”. His arrest followed a case in which a girl appearing in one of the clips was found to be 16 years old.

In Bang Pa‑in district of Ayutthaya, a 23‑year‑old man identified as Phanuphong was arrested with a mobile phone containing obscene material. It included images of a 14‑year‑old girl that he admitted to taking himself and had kept since 2019.

The suspects face charges of importing pornographic content into a computer system, possessing child pornography and distributing it for commercial purposes, Pol Col Theeranon said.

A nationwide crackdown on child exploitation is continuing, he added.
