Nissan launches All-New KICKS e-POWER with bold design and ProPILOT tech

The compact SUV features proprietary e-POWER technology and advanced driver assistance systems.

Nissan Thailand yesterday launched the All-New Nissan KICKS e-POWER at the 47th Bangkok International Motor Show. With its bold and iconic design, innovative features, award-winning e-POWER technology and ProPILOT advanced driver assistance system — available for the first time in Thailand in this model — the All-New Nissan KICKS e-POWER is ready to power every journey with energy, confidence and excitement.

A special launch promotion makes it easier to experience the thrill of driving this dynamic compact SUV. Special launch prices start from 789,900 baht, with deliveries in May.

“Today is a proud milestone for Nissan,” said Toshihiro Fujiki, president of Nissan Thailand and Asean. “We introduce our fourth e-POWER model. This time, it is engineered and produced here in Thailand. This shows our strong belief in local manufacturing, and our focus on customers in Thailand and Asean. Built for people with an urban lifestyle, the All-New Nissan KICKS e-POWER empowers drivers to live life to the fullest and enjoy every moment”.

The All-New Nissan KICKS e-POWER is set to impress the active young generation with urban lifestyles, while delivering the renowned Japanese quality Nissan is known for. Powered by Nissan’s proprietary e-POWER technology and compliant with Euro 6 emissions standards, the compact SUV delivers a responsive, fuel-efficient and environmentally conscious driving experience.

The All-New KICKS e-POWER elevates the driving experience, moving drivers’ lives forward with every rewarding journey, embodying the “KICKS ON. GAME ON.” concept.

Bold and iconic exterior

The All-New Nissan KICKS e-POWER comes in a bold, modern design language that blends sharp styling with a stronger sense of agility and premium appeal, reflecting the youthful, energetic character.

At the front, Nissan’s signature V-Motion grille in a more three-dimensional form is the central design element that reinforces the vehicle’s confident road presence.

A modernised lighting signature with slim upper beam headlamps delivers enhanced illumination to improve visibility and driving confidence. Distinctive three-arrow separated Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) add a sharp, contemporary accent, while a tough lower fascia, pronounced fenders and higher hood corners emphasise a bold, protective stance.

At the rear, the design takes on a clean and refined approach, with a straight parting line and uncluttered rear panel. Completing the look are the iconic hexagon-shaped rear lamps, creating a distinctive nighttime signature and a recognisable identity on the road.

Dynamic and modern interior

The interior features a modern, high-tech ambiance designed to enhance driver usability. At its centre is a large 12.3-inch high-resolution infotainment display, complemented by a 7-inch TFT digital instrument cluster with a digital speedometer.

The vibrant screens provide clear, intuitive access to key information, while enabling effortless control of the NissanConnect system and seamless connectivity with wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto, including USB and Bluetooth. Drivers can easily access apps, music and navigation on every journey, while a wireless charger adds further convenience by keeping devices powered and ready to go.

The interior atmosphere is elevated by a newly designed front console, centre console, door panels and a synthetic leather-wrapped steering wheel, which add a refined touch to the cabin.

Comfort is enhanced with ergonomic Zero Gravity seats designed to reduce fatigue on long journeys or in heavy traffic, while anti-heat synthetic leather ensures lasting comfort in warm climates. The driver benefits from a 6-way power-adjustable seat, while rear passengers enjoy improved comfort with a slightly increased seatback angle, generous roominess, larger headrests and a centre armrest with dual cup holders.

The Intelligent Rear View Mirror (IRVM) provides a clear, unobstructed rear view even when passengers or cargo block the conventional mirror, while a spacious 423-litre trunk offers generous capacity for luggage and everyday cargo.

Comprehensive safety with ProPILOT

Designed to make everyday driving easier and more stress-free, the All-New Nissan KICKS e-POWER is equipped with Nissan 360-degree Safety Shield, featuring advanced driver-assistance technologies.

Making its debut in the Thai market is ProPILOT, an intelligent system designed to reduce driving stress, particularly on highways.

By integrating Lane Keeping Assist (LKA) with Intelligent Cruise Control (ICC) with Stop and Go, ProPILOT helps keep the vehicle centred in its lane while maintaining a preset speed and safe distance from the vehicle ahead. If the car begins to drift out of its lane, it provides a warning and gently steers it back.

It can also stop and start more easily, reducing the burden of driving on highways and long-distance trips, as well as minimising fatigue during the journey. The system operates continuously as long as the driver keeps their hands on the steering wheel.

The All-New Nissan KICKS e-POWER also features a comprehensive suite of new safety technologies designed to help prevent and mitigate unexpected incidents. These include Leading Car Departure Notification (LCDN), Intelligent Forward Collision Warning (IFCW) that can monitor the movement of two vehicles ahead, Intelligent Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection (IEB), Blind Spot Warning (BSW) with Blind Spot Intervention (BSI), Lane Departure Warning (LDW) with Lane Departure Prevention (LDP), Rear Automatic Emergency Braking (RAEB) and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).

Additional features such as Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA), Intelligent Around View Monitor (IAVM), Moving Objective Detection (MOD), High Beam Assist (HBA) and Driver Attention Alert (DAA) further enhance driver awareness and protection.

Responsive and fun driving with e-POWER

The All-New Nissan KICKS e-POWER is equipped with Nissan’s proprietary e-POWER technology.

By integrating the electric motor and inverter into a single compact unit, together with the 1.2-litre DOHC 12-valve 3-cylinder engine, which also supports E20 fuel, the system delivers 136 PS of power and 280 Nm of instant torque, while maintaining high fuel efficiency.

Paired with a 2.06kWh lithium-ion battery, the system provides smooth responsive acceleration and strong performance for a more engaging and enjoyable drive. Drivers experience the quiet, effortless feel of a full-electric vehicle without the need for external charging or changes to their daily routine.

Driving enjoyment is enhanced by Nissan’s unique e-Pedal Step. When the driver lifts their foot off the pedal, the vehicle immediately slows down, making it easier to maintain distance, drive downhill, approach speed bumps and enter corners with more confidence. It also regenerates electricity back into the battery during deceleration.

Grades and colours

The All-New Nissan KICKS e-POWER is available in three grades — V, VL and SV — and six exterior colours: Electric Cyan, Grey Sky Pearl, Storm Storm, Radiant Red, Gun Metallic and Black Star.

A two-tone option with a black roof is also available on VL and SV grades for a more distinctive look.

The contemporary interior is elevated by the Moonstone colour option, available on the SV grade, while other grades feature a sleek black and dark grey combination.
