A relaxing holiday in Thailand turned into a nightmare for a couple after they woke up to find a venomous cobra inside their hotel room, an incident that has since sparked widespread concern over guest safety in nature-adjacent accommodations.

According to the post, the incident unfolded in the early hours of the morning, around 5 am, when the guest’s partner suddenly jumped out of bed in panic, screaming that there was a snake.

According to the Pattaya Mail, the snake had reportedly slithered across the bed and even passed over the guest’s neck while they were asleep. “Snake, it crawled over my neck,” the partner recalled, a statement that captures the sheer horror of the moment.

Fortunately, despite the extremely dangerous situation, neither of them was bitten. However, the psychological shock of the encounter has lingered, with the couple describing the experience as deeply traumatic.
