Australia encouraged to invest in the Philippine workforce

The Philippine delegation led by PEZA Director General Tereso Panga headed to this year’s Digital Health Expo in Melbourne, encouraging Australian companies to invest in Filipino skill and talent that will not only streamline workload but also assist in the efficient delivery of needs.

The digital health sector has a huge potential for Philippine based companies that can assist in several aspects including ‘contactless’ pathways in extending support to healthcare workers in Australia.
Philippine based companies can also assist in ‘backroom’ processing such as insurance claims and admin support.
It is also exploring opportunities in financial services and software development.
The expansion of Philippine based companies in Australia has also opened opportunities in the renewable energy sector.
