THE Philippine National Police (PNP) on Tuesday claimed that it had identified the sources of the supposed memorandum that circulated on social media indicating that the police force had been placed on high alert amid rumors of an alleged destabilization plot in the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).
In a television interview (Unang Hirit), Police Colonel Jean Fajardo, PNP spokesman, said that based on the report by the Anti-Cybercrime Group of the PNP and the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG), they had identified the said sources but did not name them because she was not authorized to reveal the findings..
