MAJA Salvador announced that she will be on temporary leave from co-hosting the longest-running noontime program, “Eat Bulaga,” due to “uncertainties surrounding the show” and to prepare for her upcoming wedding.
The actress announced on Thursday night through an official statement her talent agency Crown Artist Management Inc. shared on Facebook.
“Becoming a Dabarkads in Eat Bulaga was a dream of Maja that came true one and half years ago, but for now, we have to give it a pause.”
Salvador first joined the show in October 2021. The official statement also said the decision was already communicated to the Eat Bulaga management.
“Maja wishes Eat Bulaga, its host, and staff all the best. Maraming salamat, Dabarkads!”
Reports have claimed that Eat Bulaga will soon undergo rebranding. The show and hosts, however, have not yet confirmed nor denied this.
Salvador is set to marry businessman Rambo Nuñez this July.
