MANILA, Philippines: Deputy Speaker and Batangas Sixth District Rep. Ralph Recto will be sworn in as Finance secretary by President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. on Friday, January 12, his wife, actress and former congresswoman Vilma Santos-Recto said.
“Manunumpa na sya tomorrow, January 12, bilang bagong (He will be sworn on January 12 as the new) Secretary of Finance under the Administration of [President Marcos]. Kasi binigyan sya ng tiwala (He was given the trust) because he is such a good economist,” Santos-Recto said in a post on social media on Thursday.
