Peter Dutton and Ted O’Brien are the first politicians in recent years to show true leadership in Australia (“Too expensive, too dangerous, too long’: majority opposes reactors”, June 25).
Their decision to have nuclear power stations, coupled with federal government ownership, will not only provide the essential base load carbon-free backup to the renewable energy sources, but will enable all Australians to participate in building our nation and our continent into an even greater global success story.
