Twitter to introduce desktop version of Spaces soon – Times of India
Twitter is said to be working on a web version for Spaces. As reported by The Verge, Twitter is testing how the feature will look on the desktop.
A Twitter Spaces developer also posted some designs of how Spaces might look on the web. As per the screenshot shared, the Twitter Spaces card for the web will look the same as it does on the mobile. It will consist of the list of participants including the host, speakers, listeners and also an option to ‘Join the space’.

It is also expected that the Twitter Spaces for web will work in the same way as it does on mobile.
To recall, Twitter Spaces offer real-time audio conversations, reaction emojis, the ability to share Tweets, early versions of automatic captions and more.
Also, note that Spaces are public and appear in the Fleetline at the top of the users’ timeline who follows someone who has created one. However, Spaces only live till the time they’re open. Once close they are no longer available publicly on Twitter.
Spaces are live and anyone who is on Twitter can join to listen. Also, only 11 people who have joined by the shared link are allowed to speak including the host.
