Dubai, famed for its towering skyscrapers, luxurious malls and the sought-after influencer lifestyle, conceals a dark side. The city is seeing a worrying rise in exploitative soirees known as “Porta-Potty” parties.

These disturbing gatherings, reportedly thrown by wealthy individuals, tempt young models and influencers with promises of large cash payments, lavish gifts, and stays in upscale hotels.

Yet behind the glamour lies a grim truth of extreme sexual degradation, physical abuse, and potential legal issues for the women entangled in these affairs. A recent TikTok post has sounded the alarm about an influencer who received suspiciously generous presents from a man she met at her gym on Wednesday.

Jade, who goes by @outplayedbyjade on TikTok, originally from France, moved to Dubai and shares her life online. In her video, she recounts how after finishing her gym session, staff handed her a gift from a man she had briefly chatted with during her workout.

“I didn’t think much of it,” she comments, revealing that the present was a bouquet of flowers and chocolates from the man she had conversed with at the gym, according to the Mirror, reports Belfast Live.

Flattered, she texted the number he had left with his gift to thank him. Subsequently, she received a call from a salesperson at the high-end jewellery store Van Cleef and Arpels.

The influencer explained: “I’m a very curious girl, so I make my way over to the shop. This assistant pulls out a beautiful bracelet and a matching necklace.”

The jewellery was worth around £3,500. Although Jade was thrilled with the gifts, her followers warned her to “be careful” as the man’s behaviour seemed suspicious, especially following reports of women being targeted at “Porta-Parties” in Dubai.

One such disturbing case is that of Maria Kovalchuk, a 20 year old Ukrainian adult model who was allegedly left for dead after attending one of these parties. Maria had gone missing after telling her mother that two men, claiming to be modelling agents, had invited her to stay with them overnight.

She never boarded her flight to Thailand.

Ten days later, on March 19, Maria was found on the side of a road in Dubai with severe injuries, including a crushed spine, broken bones, and severe internal injuries. She underwent multiple surgeries, and her family, now by her side, is seeking answers.

According to reports, Maria is still recovering from her horrific ordeal.

Dubai Police acknowledged that Maria is receiving medical attention but claimed she had entered a restricted construction site alone and fell from a height. However, many are sceptical of this explanation, given the sinister rumours surrounding her experience.

Russian lawyer Katya Gordon, who has been closely following the case, made a chilling statement: “Model Maria Kovalchuk was found dying on the side of the road in the UAE after a party. The scandal with the Porta Potty parties has been raging for over a year.”

Gordon, along with others, suggests that Maria might have been forced into participating in a degrading sexual act involving human faeces, which is a notorious feature of these so-called “Porta-Potty” gatherings where humiliation and mistreatment are part of the ordeal.

These events are said to involve women being paid large sums of money to engage in repugnant acts that include bodily fluids, degradation, and suffering.

While viral videos have shed some light on this murky underworld, much of the abuse remains hidden due to Dubai’s polished image and strict censorship laws.

Furthermore, the women who participate in these events could end up facing legal repercussions. Radha Stirling, CEO of Detained in Dubai, warned that women who attend these parties – even involuntarily – could be charged with adultery or indecency, especially if married men are involved.

“Sex outside marriage has been legalised in Dubai, but organisers have exploited this. Women think they’re attending a private party – instead, they’re thrust into horrific, dangerous situations with real legal risk,” Stirling elaborated.

As tales of “Porta-Potty” incidents gain traction, experts are urging travellers to Dubai to exercise caution:.

Be sceptical of unverified agents offering lucrative pay for vague modelling gigs.

Avoid going alone to private parties or accepting all-expenses-paid invitations without thoroughly vetting the hosts.

Always keep in touch with family or friends, regularly updating them on your location.

Refrain from entering private rooms, upscale villas, or yachts with strangers, especially as the evening progresses.

Educate yourself about the local laws: Dubai enforces strict regulations, and foreign women can face charges such as public indecency, adultery, or prostitution, even under coercion.

Maria’s mother told Ukrainian news agencies, “She has no documents, no phone, nothing. She’s had three operations. She can’t speak. We were told she went to a party, but the promoter claims he never saw her. We’re terrified of what really happened.”
