The pair announced the news by sharing a montage of family moments with their daughter Felize, including clips of them singing “You Are My Sunshine” and a snippet of the couple dancing.

Joson opened the post writing, “My biggest dream in life has always been to build a family I could call mine. A home. That dream shaped us. It grounded us. And for all the beautiful five years (and more) that we were together, we held onto that dream with everything we had. We made that promise..to love, to fight, to stay. And truthfully, we both tried. We both held on for as long as we could.”

“But now, we’re learning to let go. Together, we’re releasing that dream… so we can finally allow a new kind of peace, growth, and healing to enter,” she continued.

Though they are ending their romantic relationship, Joson emphasized their shared commitment to co-parenting. “What we had was real and it gave us the greatest gift, our Felize..,” Joson added.

“There are moments when she wraps her arms around us and says, ‘My family belongs to me.’ And she will always be right. No matter how life changes, we will always belong to her. Her mommy. Her daddy. Her family. That will never ever change,” she continued.

The couple said the decision to speak publicly came from a desire to clarify their status and prevent further speculation.

“This wasn’t easy for either of us. We simply ask for kindness and respect as this story, and how it’s remembered, may one day shape what our daughter believes about love, family, and letting go,” they said.

“Thank you for holding space for our story. This is us, stepping into a new chapter with love, respect, and no regrets,” the post ended.

Joson and de Leon met in 2016 on the reality show “Pinoy Big Brother.” They began dating soon after but had a rocky relationship, breaking up in 2018 and reuniting in 2020. They welcomed Felize in April 2021. After a confirmed separation in early 2023 and another reconciliation, their latest announcement officially marks their third breakup in eight years.
