The crash incidents, which occurred on Sunday, involved a U.S. Navy helicopter and a fighter jet, as confirmed by the U.S. Pacific Fleet through their official social media channels.

Chinese spokesperson Guo Jiakun addressed the situation during a press conference on Monday, emphasizing potential cooperation amid challenging circumstances.
