7 Doggos Led By Corgi Named ‘Big Fat’ Escape Thieves, Travel 17 Kms Back Home; The Internet Is In Awe [WATCH]

A fellowship of seven doggos, led by a Corgi named ‘Big Fat,’ escaping a gang of thieves who stole ‘em to sell at an illegal dog meat market in China might seem stranger than fiction but such is life. The dogs not only successfully evaded their captors but also made a journey back home.
The canines, consisting of Golden Retrievers, Labradors and a Pekingese dog, besides the Corgi, journeyed for two days through fields and highways, traveling 17 kilometers back to their home village. They also made circles around the one injured female labrador during their troublesome trudge.
Per reports, the Corgi was named 大胖 (Da Pang) or Big Fat. Locations of the event vary in reports; hence, we refrain from pinning one.
Sincerely hoping this to not turn out to be an AI story or just some cooked up thread on a very insignificant video of the seven dogs. ‘Cuz this day and age, you never know. What sells the story, though, is the camaraderie between the seven; as per local media, the doggos have been friends and seen roaming together in their local villages. So much for us hoomans to learn from our best buddies. No?
The fact is that one dog was in estrus and attracted six other dogs instead of being stolen. pic.twitter.com/xISRbeUyhY

Reactions poured in on social media with a dollop of memes and several users reminding how the pawsome news reminded ‘em of “A real life version of “Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey.’” One user jibed, “Meanwhile humans get lost with Google Maps, a full tank of gas, and still call AAA. But a corgi leads 6 homies 17km through highways like it’s nothing. We really are the inferior species.” Another user remarked, “Whole squad escaped like a prison break movie and the corgi was the mastermind.” Several others quipped, “Pixar just got an Oscar-winning movie idea.”
