Bangkok is home to many popular malls, but Terminal 21 stands out for its fun and unique concept. Each floor of the mall is designed to resemble a different international airport terminal, bringing famous cities from around the world under one roof. As visitors move up through the floors, they’ll find themes inspired by London, Tokyo, Rome, Paris, San Francisco, and more. The mall even features flight-themed information desks, airport-style display boards, and shops that reflect the distinct vibe of each city.

A UK content creator recently shared a tour of Terminal 21, highlighting the unique theme of each floor. She even explored all the washrooms, which left her pleasantly surprised. Social media users applauded the mall’s creative design and attention to detail. Among all the floors, the London section excited her the most, being from the UK, she said it felt so authentic that it was almost like travelling back home.

Bangkok Mall Designed Like An Airport Terminal From A Different Country

Sharing the video on Instagram, the content creator says, “I’ve just come to one of the coolest malls in Thailand. While the mall is themed after an airport. Each floor is a different city in a different country. We’re on the first floor, already I can tell what country and city it is, I’m guessing Italy. Italian writing and statues. My gosh, the restroom in Italy is so cool. Let’s go to Paris. It literally feels like I’m in the airport. We have the Eiffel tower, lamp post. Let’s see what Japan, Tokyo, has in store for us. This floor is so cool. Feels like I teleported. I always wanted to go to Japan as well. Can I check this off my bucket list? Coolest mall ever.”

“I’m so excited to go to the UK, London floor, because obviously that’s where I’m from, and I haven’t been to the UK in over a year. The next floor is London. First things first, we’ve got a foot locker. In London, that makes so much sense. Look at the bathroom, a London Underground-themed bathroom. It actually feels like I’m in the London Underground. So weird. This is the coolest bathroom I’ve ever been to. London’s definitely my favourite floor. We’ve got the red double-decker bus. They actually ate on this floor. Look at this coffee shop. We’ve got a telephone box and you can go inside, so cute,” she added.

In the video, she also takes viewers to the Istanbul floor, where the bright Turkish-style lights catch her attention. She then checks out the washroom on that floor. Next, she moves to the San Francisco section, which has a large bridge inside the mall that she finds very impressive. The final stop is the Hollywood floor, where she spots a cinema and explores another themed restroom that leaves her amazed by its design.

Social Media Users Praise The Mall’s Creative Toilets And Unique Layout

Reacting to the post, a user wrote, “Everything is accurate till you went to London and didn’t get mugged.”

Another shared, “Terminal 21 malls have the best rest. Also have those Japanese toilets.”

“Try Pattaya too, they have a Harry Potter-themed washroom,” a comment read.

An individual stated, “Get to Australia level and it’s kangaroos everywhere jumping in front of you while you’re trying to walk.”

Another mentioned, “The food court of Terminal 21 is the best.”

One more added, “What’s crazier is that the toilets at each wing of each floor have a different theme of the country. Japan floor one toilet is the zen bamboo, while the other toilet is of the Shibuya theme.”

Apart from Bangkok, tourists in Pattaya and Korat can also visit their own Terminal 21 malls.
