Taiwanese singer David Tao will be back in the Lion City for a concert at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on Feb 28, 2026.

The six-time Golden Melody Award winner, who debuted in 1997, is known as the godfather of Mandarin R&B. Among his hits are Small Town Girl (1999) and Black Tangerine (2002).

This time, he is bringing his Soul Power II world tour to the Republic. Singapore will be final stop of the tour, which kicked off in Wuhan, China in March 2024, and has travelled to places like Nanjing, New York, Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur.

As the finale, the Singapore show promises to deliver an electrifying and emotionally powerful live experience.

This tour is based on Tao’s first tour, 2003’s Soul Power, and features an enhanced stage design, including an extended platform, bringing Tao closer to fans.

There will also be new audience interaction segments, including off-stage interaction as well as a song request session.

Fan-requested songs – widely discussed across social media – will be added to rotating setlists, offering destination-specific surprises at each stop. In addition, Tao has hinted at premiering new material from his upcoming album.
