A jaw-dropping video from China has taken social media by storm, capturing a moment so tense that viewers are left panicked. The clip, reportedly filmed in Guangdong, shows a woman hanging on to the edge of a 10th-floor apartment window. Yes, ten floors up. According to the post, she was trying to escape being caught from the wife of the man who she was allegedly involved with.

In the footage, the woman is seen hanging dangerously from the window frame while a shirtless man talks to her from inside. Moments later, he disappears from view, leaving the woman to navigate the terrifying situation entirely on her own. The incident is said to have occurred on November 30.

Real Life Stunt

As the viral clip unfolds, the woman moves sideways across the building’s exterior, gripping shelves, drainpipes and windowsills as if she were performing an action stunt. With her phone tightly clutched in her hand, she slides down a water pipe to reach a lower floor, then knocks on a neighbour’s window. Thankfully, a resident comes to her rescue, opens the window and pulls her inside.

Reports online claim that the entire incident took place because the man’s wife unexpectedly returned home. In a panic, the man allegedly told his mistress to climb out the window to avoid being discovered.

Social media users were quick to express outrage, calling the stunt dangerous and avoidable. Reactions ranged from disbelief to humour as well. One user joked, “She is a member of Spiderman,” while another added a dramatic twist, saying, “Plot twist; the one who saves her, called the man’s wife ‘okay she’s here.’” A more serious comment read, “No man is worthy enough to put you in such a situation. Have some dignity, Miss.”

Meanwhile, an individual referred to the most viral kiss cam moment of the year and joked, saying, “Where was Coldplay and why weren’t they notified to put this on the Big Screen?” Another wrote, “She should have been a secret agent.”
