Trump posts 45 times in one hour in ‘genuinely disturbing’ social media barrage

The President of the United States has gone on a social media rant, with 45 social media posts in one hour. On Monday evening (June 1) Donald Trump posted and reposted the messages on Truth Social, the majority being endorsements for MAGA Republicans running for election across the country.
President Trump also reposted positive tweets about his endorsement record and Washington, D.C renovation projects. The Mirror US reports that during his chaotic Truth Social flurry, the president also took attacked political enemies including New York County District Attorney Alvin Bragg, who charged Trump in New York City with multiple felonies.
“Alvin Bragg created a new crime just for ‘Donald Trump’. He took misdemeanors that didn’t exist, and turned them into felonies that never existed.
“They have a ‘charge’ for Donald Trump that nobody has ever been charged with in the History of Manhattan, and they didn’t charge Hillary Clinton’s lawyer who became the Chief Prosecutor, Mark Pomerantz, and the Judge’s Daughter was the Chief Fundraiser for Kamala Harris and Sleepy Joe Biden. Dirty Cops and Crooked Politicians!”
In addition, Trump posted a photo of the Washington Monument and equestrian statue in Washington, D.C., as well as before-and-after images of Andrew Jackson statue outside White House. Trump also posted “51st State!” with link to a Bloomberg article on Canada’s technical recession, an EPA plan to repeal emissions standards and save families over $2,400 on a new vehicle, an article asking if he picked the right blue for the Reflecting Pool, as well as round-ups of “positive press” he received last week.
He also claimed in a post that he has taken out Bill Cassidy, Thomas Massie, Brad Raffensperger and Stephen Colbert, says his score is 38-0 with three more late-night hosts to go. Most concerningly, he repeated a rambling post where he imagines Iran surrenders for a third time in just a few weeks.
The message discusses Iran surrendering and admitting defeat while criticizing media coverage of the ongoing conflict and attacking Democrats.
Trump raged: “If Iran surrenders, admits their Navy is gone and resting at the bottom of the sea, and their Air Force is no longer with us, and if their entire Military walks out of Tehran, weapons dropped and hands held high, each shouting ‘I surrender, I surrender’ while wildly waving the representative White Flag, and if their entire remaining Leadership signs all necessary ‘Documents of Surrender,’ and admit their defeat to the great power and force of the magnificent U.S.A.”
On Truth Social on Monday evening, Trump went on: “The Failing New York Times, The China Street Journal (WSJ!), Corrupt and now Irrelevant CNN, and all other members of the Fake News Media, will headline that Iran had a Masterful and Brilliant Victory over The United States of America, it wasn’t even close. The Dumacrats and Media have totally lost their way. They have gone absolutely CRAZY!!! President DJT”
Trump first posted the rant on May 18 at 10.40am and then again on May 26 at 3.32pm. The repetition mirrors worries about the US president experiencing dementia, reports the Express.
His third time posting the same message has not gone unnoticed, with people joking on X “third time’s a charm.”
“Isn’t there a clinical definition for the behavior of a person who does the same things over and over again expecting different results?” Someone asked.
“This is genuinely disturbing,” another person added.
